Dr. Yen


Dr. Allison Yen graduated from the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry. She graduated in the top 10 of her class, and was honored with many awards for academic excellence including Western Society of Periodontology Award and more. Following her dental training, she completed a three-year post-graduate residency program in Periodontics at the University of Illinois, at Chicago. During her training, Dr. Yen also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in oral sciences from the University of Illinois where she conducted research in wound healing.

She is trained to deliver oral conscious and intravenous (IV) sedation for patient comfort. Dr. Yen is also actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Yen keeps up to date on her clinical knowledge by attending many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

She enjoys traveling, playing volleyball and tennis, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Batheja


Dr. Rohit Batheja is a board-certified endodontist. He graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2005, after which he went on to complete a one-year comprehensive Hospital- based residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Batheja then purused further education at the USC School of Dentistry’s two-year premier Edodontic Residency program, from where he obtained his Certificate in the specialty of Endodontics & Microsurgery.

Dr. Batheja is a diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics – Less than 20% of all practicing endodontists in the United States have earned this honor. He is also a professional member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Association of Hospital Dentists, California Dental Association, and America Dental Association.

When not working, Dr. Batheja loves spending time with his family, walking along the beach, playing badminton, and playing his Taylor guitar.

Dr. Sunwoo

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. James Sunwoo, M.D., D.D.S., is a board- certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His areas of expertise encompass traditional oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthognathic maxillofacial surgery, and cosmetic maxillofacial surgery. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons as well as a Fellow of both the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

After completing his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, Dr. Sunwoo went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Southern California as well as his Dental Degree from Columbia University. He continued his post-graduate training by completing both an internship and residency in general surgery and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Southern California. He is dual-fellowship trained in both maxillofacial orthognathic surgery and general cosmetic surgery.

Throughout his studies and post-graduate career Dr. Sunwoo has received numerous Honors and Awards including New York’s Top 10 Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Specialists 2014, Top 10 Doctor of 2014, Patients’ Choice Physician Award 2010, Most Compassionate Doctor Award 2010, amongst more. He continues to maintain close affiliation with Northshore -LIJ Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai- St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital, and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. His extensive training affords him the ability to offer the highest standard of care to his patients.
